Steeplechase is an established neighborhood east of I-35 off Goforth and Lehman roads, with one- and two-story homes built from the late 1990s to the mid-2000s.

It borders the city's Steeplechase Park along Plum Creek, one of Kyle's larger parks, with a splash pad, dog park, disc golf course, sports fields and trails.
