Circle C Ranch is one of southwest Austin's largest master-planned communities, with more than 4,600 homes built from the mid-1980s onward between Slaughter Lane and SH 45. The Avaña section at its southern edge extends into Hays County.

The homeowners association runs pools, a swim center and a community center, and the city's Circle C Metropolitan Park and Veloway cycling loop are next door. From here, SH 45 and MoPac put Buda and Kyle within easy reach.
